After Instigating The MeToo movement In Bollywood, Ex-Miss India Tanushree Dutta Is All Prepped Up To Return To The US!

Tanushree Dutta has decided to head back to New Jersey. She was amongst the first few names who came out and spoke openly about their sexual harassment incidents in Bollywood and also charged Nana Patekar as the prime accuse of her case.

The last few months have taken Bollywood by storm with some big names from the industry coming under the limelight for their heinous acts of sexual harassment. The actor has received massive appreciation and support for the courage, and she is optimistic that she will get justice. In a recent interview with Mid Day, she said, “I have been living with it for a decade without redressal. The legal process is not dependent on me being around. If I have to be around to push the case, what is the point of the legal system and law enforcers?”

TheMeToo movement was much needed, not just in the film industry, but everywhere in India. It has aggravated crucial clean up in Bollywood. A lot of actors, singers and directors are now on the list of not just sexual harassment but also for rape, molestation and threatening their female co-stars and colleagues. The ex-Miss India was also quoted saying, “ I do not look at it as now hot, now cold. Such things are a revolution. What matters is its impact in thefuture. It has created an atmosphere where sexual predators are aware that they cannot get away with misbehaviour. It came as a surprise when women began calling out the sexual predators. I am aware that #MeToo cannot be front page news every day.”
