Pune-based woman, Neha Deshpande has been crowned as the Mrs. India Worldwide 2017. The 7th Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide 2017 beauty pageant was held in the Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon. Neha bagged the crown while Shweta Dagar and Shwati Nanda were named the first runner-ups.
The Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide competition is an annual beauty pageant with a cause where 52 contestants contending to bag the winner’s title. The international beauty pageant was held on August 5, 2017. And their cause for the year was to fund the visually impaired children.
For the cause
The pageant has been tagged as the pageant with a cause. This year it aimed at helping blind children. Talking about this year’s cause, Founder, and Chairman of Haut Monde India Group, Bharat K. Bhramar was quoted saying that this Year Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide is dedicated to the Rashtriya Blind School, Delhi and organizers will donate Rs seven lakh collected by the contestant to this school.
The event was an initiative of Shri Sai Entertainments Pvt Ltd and donations for the visually- impaired children will be made through the earnings of the event. Contestants of the Mrs. India Worldwide contest train for a week before the competition and the aim of the contest are to express the inner beauty of the global Indian woman. The contest is open for women residing in India as well as Indian women all over the world, and Neha Deshpande, who hails from Pune, was crowned this year’s winner.
Another important thing that makes Mrs. India Worldwide a rather unique and out of the box contest is that the groomers are trying to understand the women who participate in the competition. The idea behind Mrs. India Worldwide 2017 contest is to celebrate motherhood as well as womanhood, and the contestants are trained in several aspects including voice modulation, personality development, image building, dining etiquette, etc.
