The captain cool loses his calm and scolds Khalil on field

Be it on the cricket field or the outer world, the Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is known for his calmness. That was what earned him the title of ‘Captain Cool’. He is hardly seen angry and is known for his capability of managing any adverse situation with his calmness. He is quite popular among the new players, as he always treats them with love and care. However, during the second ODI against Australia in Adelaide, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was seen exploding in his anger.

With the scoreboard beckoning India to make 299 runs in order to win the match, the former captain lost his coolness and scolded Khalil Ahmed in front of everyone. This happened when Khalil Ahmed had come to give water to the players on the pitch. Dinesh Karthik and Dhoni were just a few minutes away from victory. Khalil Ahmed was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dhoni was shouting at them and asking them to go back.
It was quite hot in Adelaide. In such a situation, we found Dhoni looking quite stressed. He seemed to be suffering from dehydration. It was then that Khalil Ahmed had reached the ground with a drink in his hand and had offered it to Dhoni. While giving drink to the batsmen, Khalil did not realize that he had reached the pitch.

Sunil Gavaskar had said, ‘Please leave Mahendra Singh Dhoni alone’

Seeing Khalil entering the pitch, Dhoni had become quite angry and had asked Khalil to step back from the pitch. Unintentionally, he had scolded Khalil in front of everyone.
